When will my Social Security (SSA) or SSI deposit arrive?

The Social Security Administration (SSA) sets official payment dates, but deposits at CU SoCal often post a little earlier. We post SSA and SSI deposits the same day they arrive.

SSA Payments (based on your birthday):

  • Birthdays 1st–10th → Payment scheduled for the second Wednesday of each month.
  • Birthdays 11th–20th → Payment scheduled for the third Wednesday of each month.
  • Birthdays 21st–31st → Payment scheduled for the fourth Wednesday of each month.
  • Deposits often arrive the Friday before the scheduled date (unless affected by a holiday).

SSI Payments:

  • Scheduled for the 1st of each month.
  • Deposits may arrive up to 4 days early if the 1st falls on a weekend or holiday.
  • Example: The September SSI deposit will post Monday, August 25.
